Xiaomi prepares to unveil the Redmi Pad SE in India on April 23 – Here’s a sneak peek at what’s coming!

Redmi is set to launch its Redmi Pad SE in India on April 23, after its previous unveiling in certain European markets in August 2023. The announcement was made by Xiaomi during their recent Smarter Living 2024 event, where they hinted at the release of four new products, including the Redmi Pad SE. The tablet is expected to be tailored specifically for the Indian market, with unique design, color options, and features.

Xiaomi India officially confirmed the arrival of the Redmi Pad SE on April 23 through a post on X, directing users to a microsite showcasing the Indian variant of the tablet. The Indian version of the Redmi Pad SE is expected to closely resemble its global counterpart in terms of design and features.

The Redmi Pad SE is set to launch in India in green, grey, and lavender colors, with an 11-inch full-HD+ LCD screen offering a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification. Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, the tablet promises impressive battery life for video playback, music playback, and standby time. It also supports multitasking features like split-screen and floating windows.

While pricing details for the Indian variant of the Redmi Pad SE are yet to be revealed, the tablet was priced starting at EUR 199 (approximately Rs. 18,000) for the 4GB + 128GB option in select European markets. The 6GB + 128GB and 8GB + 128GB variants were priced at EUR 229 (approximately Rs. 20,800) and EUR 249 (approximately Rs. 22,600) respectively. Indian consumers eagerly await the official pricing announcement as the launch date approaches.
