Vivo V30e with 50MP camera, 5,500 mAh battery launching in India on May 2: Price, specs, launch offers and more

Vivo has announced the upcoming launch of the Vivo V30e smartphone in India on May 2. The phone features a unique textured ribbon design and a powerful 5,500mAh battery. This launch comes after the release of the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro models in the Indian market earlier this year.

The Vivo V30e showcases a ‘gem-cut’ design similar to the recent OnePlus 12 and Realme 12 series devices. It will be available in Velvet Red and Silk Blue color variants, with a 3D curved display on the front and smart color temperature adjustment. The smartphone will sport a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor and a secondary sensor with Aura Light. Additionally, a 50MP eye autofocus shooter on the front will cater to selfie and video calling needs.

According to reports, the Vivo V30e is expected to feature a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, the phone is likely to offer 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. The device is expected to run on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14 and come with IP64 water and dust resistance, along with 44W fast charging capabilities.

While Vivo has not officially disclosed the pricing for the Vivo V30e, it is anticipated to fall within the ₹30,000 range in India, similar to its predecessor, the Vivo V29e. The V29e was priced starting at ₹26,999 for the 8GB RAM/128GB storage variant and ₹28,999 for the 8GB RAM/256GB storage variant.

Stay tuned for more updates on the Vivo V30e as it prepares to make its debut in the Indian market on May 2.
