Redmi Note 13 5G series to Receive HyperOS Update in India

Xiaomi has announced that the Redmi Note 13 5G series in India will soon receive the HyperOS update, switching to Xiaomi’s latest Android 14-based user interface. The update will be available for the base model, Redmi Note 13 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ models, bringing new features and a revamped interface to the smartphones.

The company made the announcement via a post on X (formerly Twitter) on Friday, stating that the rollout of HyperOS has begun for Redmi Note 13 series users in the country. While it may take a few days for all users to receive the update, the company also hinted at the possibility of the Redmi Note 12 series getting the update in the future.

HyperOS will introduce lock screen customization, a new control center, updated icons, fonts, and productivity features like Workstation Mode for tablets. Users will also benefit from interconnectivity features for Xiaomi ecosystem devices, allowing seamless integration with smart home devices and electric vehicles.

Xiaomi has disclosed a list of eligible smartphones for the HyperOS update in the second quarter of 2024, including models from the Xiaomi and Redmi series. Additionally, Poco, a sub-brand of Xiaomi, has also released a list of smartphones that will receive the HyperOS update during the same period, catering to a wider range of users.
