Poco M6 Pro 5G with 8GB RAM and 256GB Storage Launched in India: Price, Specifications

Poco M6 Pro 5G launched in May this year in India is one of the products in an exclusive club of 5G smartphones. This device boasts of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging support. Initially, the phone arrived with 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB storage options. Gradually, the company also released a new 4GB + 128GB variant. It has now introduced another variant with more RAM and storage.

The latest variant of Poco M6 Pro 5G, which is an 8GB + 256GB model, is available in India at Rs. 14,999. It will be up for grabs from November 29 at 12pm and can be purchased through Flipkart. Furthermore, customers using HDFC or ICICI Bank credit cards can avail an instant discount of Rs. 2,000, making the effective price Rs. 12,999. The phone comes in Forest Green and Power Black color options.

The existing storage options of the Poco M6 Pro 5G, including the 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB models, are priced at Rs. 9,999, Rs. 10,999, and Rs. 11,999 respectively.

The Poco M6 Pro 5G boasts a 6.79-inch full-HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 240Hz. The phone is operated by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. It runs on Android 13-based MIUI 14.

In the camera department, the Poco M6 Pro 5G sports a 50-megapixel AI-backed primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an LED flash unit at the back. For selfies, an 8-megapixel sensor is housed in a centered hole punch slot at the top of the display.

The phone is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 18W fast charging through a USB Type-C port. It also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and an IP53 rating for dust and splash resistance. The handset’s dimensions are 168.60mm x 76.28mm x 8.17mm, and it weighs 199 grams.
