Lava Blaze X 5G, the latest 5G smartphone from domestic brand Lava, was launched in India on Wednesday. The smartphone features a 120Hz curved AMOLED display and is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset, contrary to earlier rumors of a Dimensity 7050 SoC. The Lava Blaze X 5G comes with a dual rear camera setup with a 64-megapixel main sensor and houses a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

The price of the Lava Blaze X 5G in India starts at Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage model. The 6GB and 8GB variants are priced at Rs. 15,999 and Rs. 16,999 respectively. The smartphone is available in Starlight Purple and Titanium Grey color options and will be available for purchase through the Lava e-store and Amazon from July 20, with an introductory discount of Rs. 1,000 on all variants.

Running on Android 14, the Lava Blaze X 5G features a 6.67-inch full-HD+ curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is equipped with up to 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 onboard storage. The smartphone also offers a virtual RAM feature that can add up to 16GB additional RAM.

The dual rear camera setup on the Lava Blaze X 5G includes a 64-megapixel Sony primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary camera, while the front camera is 16-megapixel for selfies and video chats. Connectivity options include Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, OTG, 5G, and a USB Type-C port. Additionally, the phone features an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication and an IP52-rating for protection against water and dust.
