Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition PC System Requirements Confirmed Ahead of March 21 Launch

Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is set to launch on PC on March 21, and developer Nixxes Software has unveiled the detailed PC system requirements for the highly anticipated game. The studio, known for porting PlayStation exclusives to PC, has ensured that the game can run on a wide range of PC hardware while offering customizable graphics presets.

According to a post on the PlayStation Blog, Horizon Forbidden West on PC will feature graphics presets from very low to very high, catering to both high-end and less powerful PCs. Nixxes has also confirmed that the game will offer extensive graphical customization options to accommodate portable gaming devices like the Steam Deck, Asus ROG Ally, and Lenovo Legion Go.

Players looking to run Horizon Forbidden West on PC will need at least 16GB of RAM, 150GB of SSD storage, and Windows 10 64-bit (version 1909 or higher) operating system. For optimal performance at 4K resolution, Nvidia’s RTX 40 series or AMD 7000 series cards will be required.

The game will offer various performance levels, ranging from 720p at 30 fps on minimum settings to 4K at 60 fps on very high settings. Nixxes has also promised a wide array of graphical customization settings, including individual quality settings for textures, level of detail, shadows, water, terrain, and more.

Horizon Forbidden West was announced for PC last month with a March 21 release date. The game will include the Burning Shores expansion from 2023 and is currently available for pre-order on Steam and the Epic Games Store at a price of Rs. 3,999.
