The company has officially teased the upcoming launch of the Vivo S18 series, confirming that it will be equipped with Vivo’s Blue Heart AI assistant. While detailed specifications have not yet been revealed by the company, numerous leaks have given insight into the key features of the phones. Additionally, a schematic design render of the Vivo S18 lineup has surfaced online.

In a post on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo, Vivo officially confirmed that the Vivo S18 series will launch soon with its in-house Blue Heart AI assistant. The teaser poster shared by the company displays the side profile of the Vivo S18, revealing a slightly raised camera module at the back.

While an exact launch date has not been announced, a tip shared by Weibo user Why Lab suggests that the Vivo S18 series will feature the thinnest 5000mAh battery-backed handset in 2023, hinting at a possible December 2023 launch. Another post from the same user claims that the base model will include a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC and a panel with a peak brightness level of 2,800 nits.

The Vivo S18 Pro is anticipated to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 sensor. It is also expected to focus on “thin and light portrait selfies,” potentially indicating an upgraded front camera sensor. The high-end model is also expected to include a similar battery and will support 80W wired fast charging. Both phones are likely to have AMOLED displays and offer Wi-Fi 7 connectivity.

Tipster Digital Chat Station added that the Vivo S18 models will be equipped with a 50-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle lens and another telephoto lens. A schematic design render shared by the tipster also displays two separate rectangular cutouts with rounded edges arranged vertically on the top left corner of the back panel of a Vivo S18 model.
