In Week 3 of the United Football League (UFL), Birmingham Stallions quarterback Adrian Martinez showcased his potential as one of the league’s most explosive playmakers. Making his first start for Birmingham, Martinez threw for 334 yards and two touchdowns, leading the Stallions to a 33-14 victory over the Memphis Showboats.

Martinez’s performance included completing 64.3% of his passes and adding 44 rushing yards. The Stallions’ offense flourished, racking up nine plays of 20-plus yards and unfurling their back-to-back USFL title banner before the game. With the win, Birmingham remained the only undefeated team in the league at 3-0.

Wide receiver Deon Cain had a standout game with seven receptions for 144 yards, while running back Ricky Person Jr. contributed 76 scrimmage yards and a touchdown. The Stallions’ defense also shined, recording eight sacks in the game.

Meanwhile, in other Week 3 matchups, the St. Louis Battlehawks defeated the San Antonio Brahmas 31-24, with receiver Hakeem Butler leading the way. The Michigan Panthers earned a 34-20 victory over the Houston Roughnecks, powered by quarterback E.J. Perry’s strong performance.

In a thrilling finish, the DC Defenders rallied past the Arlington Renegades for a 29-28 win. Kicker Matthew McCrane sealed the victory with a game-winning field goal on the final play of the game.

Throughout the weekend, UFL kickers continued to shine, with a perfect 19-for-19 field goal performance. The league’s kickers have collectively made 92.3% of their field goals this season, showcasing their accuracy and consistency on the field.
