Caitlin Clark reportedly set to sign lucrative deal with Nike, that includes signature shoe

Caitlin Clark, the new star of the Indiana Fever, is set to re-sign with Nike in a lucrative eight-figure endorsement deal as she enters the WNBA. The deal is likely to include a signature shoe for Clark, making her one of the few WNBA players with such a partnership. Adidas and Under Armour also made sizable offers to sign Clark, with Under Armour even involving Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry in their attempt to secure her. However, Clark decided to remain with Nike after her previous deal with the brand expired at the end of her college career.

Clark’s rise to stardom began in college, where she led Iowa to the national title game and broke the all-time Division I scoring record. Nike recognized her achievements with a “Just Do It” commercial and a giant poster ad in Iowa City. Now, as she enters the WNBA as the No. 1 draft pick for the Fever, Clark will be joining the likes of Breanna Stewart and Sabrina Ionescu as one of the few active WNBA players with a signature shoe deal.

The buzz surrounding Clark has translated into record-breaking viewership numbers for women’s college basketball and increased ticket sales for the Fever. Fans are eagerly anticipating her debut in the WNBA, with nearly all sizes of her jersey selling out within an hour of becoming available for purchase. Clark’s impact on the league is already evident, and her partnership with Nike further solidifies her status as a rising star in women’s basketball.
