Jets' Aaron Rodgers 'hopeful' he can play two-to-four more years

Aaron Rodgers, the 40-year-old quarterback for the New York Jets, is optimistic about his future in the NFL despite a season-ending Achilles tear in his debut season with the team. During an episode of “Look Into It – with Eddie Bravo,” Rodgers expressed his hope of playing for two, three, or even four more years, with the caveat of needing some good fortune. He also mentioned being in a good place with his Achilles rehab.

The Jets, who finished their last season with a 7-10 record, are in their second offseason with Rodgers. Having spent the bulk of his career with the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers is a four-time NFL MVP, four-time All-Pro, and 10-time Pro Bowler with numerous career accomplishments.

With approximately $25 million in cap space and the No. 10 pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, the Jets have resources to improve their team this offseason. Linebacker Bryce Huff and safety Jordan Whitehead are among the Jets’ impending free agents. Rodgers, under contract through the 2025 NFL season, remains a key player for the team.

Despite the challenges he has faced, Rodgers’ resilience and determination to continue playing at a high level are evident. As he focuses on his recovery and future with the Jets, fans eagerly await his return to the field for another season of exciting football.
