PD Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre in Mumbai has been recognized by the Consortium of Accredited Healthcare Organisations (CAHO) as a centre for quality promotion (CQP). This accreditation signifies the hospital’s dedication to spreading awareness about patient safety and healthcare quality among smaller and medium healthcare organizations.

CAHO has introduced the concept of CQP to expand its quality initiatives throughout the healthcare landscape in India. These recognized centers, which include accredited healthcare organizations with trained quality implementers, play a crucial role in promoting quality and accreditation in the healthcare sector.

Joy Chakraborty, the COO of PD Hinduja Hospital and Medical Research Centre, expressed the hospital’s commitment to raising awareness about quality and accreditation, as well as providing guidance and support to neighboring healthcare organizations on their accreditation journey.
