Tata Group-owned Air India is set to launch its newly inducted Airbus A350 aircraft on the Delhi-Dubai route starting May 1. The airline will operate the wide-body plane for international destinations, enhancing the passenger experience with luxurious facilities and amenities.

The A350 aircraft, operating as AI995/996, will depart from Delhi daily at 20:45 hours and arrive in Dubai at 22:45 hours. The return flight will depart Dubai the next day at 00:15 hours and arrive in Delhi at 04:55 hours, all in local timings. The aircraft will offer 28 private suites with full-flat beds in Business, 24 seats in Premium Economy, and 264 seats in Economy.

Air India had initially planned to deploy the A350 aircraft on international routes by mid-2024. The airline operates 72 flights a week to Dubai from five Indian cities, with 32 flights originating from Delhi. The introduction of the A350 aims to upgrade the passenger experience with refreshed bed linens, India-inspired chinaware, and other luxurious amenities.

Passengers can also look forward to an enhanced in-flight entertainment experience on the A350, with access to 2,200 hours of diverse content including movies, TV shows, and audio. With the rollout of the A350 on international routes, all Air India international flights are expected to undergo upgrades in facilities and amenities to provide a more luxurious travel experience.
