BJP to release its poll manifesto on Sunday

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to unveil its manifesto, Sankalp Patra, for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on Sunday. The manifesto is expected to focus on welfare, development, and a roadmap for ‘viksit Bharat’, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other senior party leaders in attendance at the unveiling event. The release coincides with the birth anniversary of B R Ambedkar, a prominent leader from the Dalit community.

As the BJP has delivered on several core ideological promises, such as the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya and the revocation of Article 370, the spotlight will be on how the party’s cultural and Hindutva agenda features in the manifesto. The manifesto is anticipated to highlight measures targeting the youth, women, farmers, and the underprivileged – demographic segments that PM Modi has frequently emphasized.

A manifesto committee led by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was tasked with drafting the document, following consultations and feedback gathered through various channels, including social media campaigns and outreach programs. The party’s election pledges are expected to reflect its vision for the country’s future and its commitment to inclusive growth and development.

Stay tuned for the release of the BJP’s manifesto on Sunday, as it is set to outline the party’s policy priorities and agenda for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, as the country gears up for a crucial electoral battle.
