Sai Tamhankar, actor, purchases a Mercedes-Benz GLE luxury SUV

Actor Sai Tamhankar recently made headlines by bringing home a new Mercedes-Benz GLE luxury SUV on the occasion of Gudi Padwa. The popular actor, known for her roles in Hindi and Marathi movies as well as television, shared the exciting news on social media with a video of her taking delivery of the white SUV. The Mercedes-Benz GLE is a favored choice among celebrities, with prices ranging between ₹97 lakh and ₹1.15 crore.

In her social media post, Tamhankar expressed her excitement and motivation by stating, “Do not let anyone ever tell you what you can or cannot do. Dream it, Achieve it, Live it! As we embark on a new year, let’s set newer goals and achieve them together. पाडव्याच्या खूप खूप शुभेच्छा (Best wishes for Gudi Padwa).”

The new Mercedes-Benz GLE comes with petrol and diesel engine options. The GLE 450 petrol variant is equipped with a 3.0-litre turbo petrol engine, producing 375 bhp and 500 Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the GLE 300d diesel variant features a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine generating 265 bhp and 550 Nm of torque. Additionally, there is a top-spec GLE 450d variant with a 3.0-litre diesel engine producing 362 bhp and 750 Nm of torque. The SUV also features a 48-volt mild-hybrid system for improved acceleration and fuel efficiency.

The Mercedes-Benz GLE facelift, launched in India last year, boasts updated design elements both inside and out. With enhancements such as a revised grille, bumper, LED DRLs, headlamps, and a revamped interior inspired by the Maybach GLS, the luxury SUV promises a more luxurious and advanced driving experience. Updates include a new multi-function steering wheel, updated infotainment screen with MBUX system, reclining seats, USB-C ports, four-zone climate control, and nine airbags.
