Mavrick Scrambler 440: The Ultimate Hero with a Trademark

Hero Mavrick Scrambler 440 trademarked. What it could be?

Hero MotoCorp has recently filed for a new trademark for the ‘Mavrick 440 Scrambler,’ indicating a potential new iteration of their flagship motorcycle in the Indian market. The Mavrick 440 was launched in February and shares underpinnings with Harley-Davidson’s X440, the most affordable motorcycle in their lineup.

For the scrambler version, cosmetic changes and tweaks are expected, including dual-purpose tyres, a wider handlebar, a new seat, and different footpegs. The possibility of a 19-inch front wheel and additional features like hand guards, a different mudguard, and unique graphics on the fuel tank are also anticipated.

The Mavrick 440 Scrambler will likely be powered by the same 440 cc, air-oil cooled engine producing 27 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 36 Nm of torque at 4,000 rpm. The engine prioritizes low-end torque for a smooth riding experience in city and highway conditions, paired with a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.

Features such as a digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity and all LED lighting are expected to remain the same. The addition of switchable ABS, given the motorcycle’s scrambler classification, is also a possibility. It is important to note that the filing of a trademark does not guarantee the launch of the motorcycle, as it could simply be a strategic move to protect the name.

Stay tuned for more updates on the potential release of the Hero Mavrick 440 Scrambler in the coming months.
