Suzuki Motorcycle India has unveiled the Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Celebration Edition in India, marking a quarter-century of the iconic superbike. Priced at ₹17.70 lakh (ex-showroom), the special edition comes with a premium of ₹80,000 over the standard model.

The Suzuki Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Edition boasts cosmetic enhancements such as V-shaped decals, a black cowl, a gold anodised drive chain adjuster, and more. It also features special 25th-anniversary logo engravings and a 3D Suzuki emblem on the fuel tank, among other upgrades.

Under the hood, the Hayabusa is powered by a 1,340 cc in-line four-cylinder, liquid-cooled DOHC engine that generates 190 bhp at 9,700 rpm and 142 Nm at 7,000 rpm. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox and Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) technology, including traction control and a bi-directional quickshifter.

Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India, expressed gratitude to customers for their support and introduced the special edition as a tribute to the Hayabusa’s legacy. The Hayabusa, known for its speed and innovation, has been a beloved model since its inception in 1999 and continues to captivate motorcycle enthusiasts worldwide.

The Suzuki Hayabusa remains an iconic model in the Indian market, with the second-generation model still in production locally since 2016. The 25th Anniversary Edition pays homage to the peregrine falcon that set new benchmarks in the superbike segment upon its debut.
