Hyundai Venue S (O) variant updated with sunroof & more features. Check details

Hyundai Motor India Limited has introduced a new variant for their sub 4-metre compact SUV, Venue, while also updating the existing S (O) variant with new features. The move aims to attract more customers by offering popular features in the Indian market. However, it is important to note that these new features are exclusive to the turbocharged engine of the Venue.

The key addition to the Venue S (O) variant is an electric sunroof, a sought-after feature in the Indian market. Additionally, map lamps for both passengers and the driver have been included in the updated variant.

Moreover, the improved Venue S (O) variant retains several safety features, including 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, Electronic Stability Control, Brake Assist System, Vehicle Stability Management, Hill Start Assist, rear parking sensors, and a rear camera with dynamic guidelines. Other features include automatic headlamps with escort function, a tyre pressure monitoring system, central locking, seatbelt reminders, high-speed alert, seatbelt pre-tensioners, and an immobilizer.

The Venue Turbo S (O) is powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder engine producing 118 bhp of power at 6,000 rpm and 172 Nm of torque at 1,500 to 4,000 rpm. It is equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission and an Idle Start/Stop system for enhanced fuel efficiency.

The Venue Turbo S (O) variant will be available with a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission, priced at ₹10.75 lakh and ₹11.86 lakh respectively, ex-showroom. The updated variant showcases Hyundai’s commitment to offering feature-packed and value-for-money vehicles to the Indian market.
