Bobby Deol collaborates with Seltos to showcase Kia’s advanced connected car technology

Kia Seltos, a popular mid-size SUV in the Indian market, has recently collaborated with Bollywood actor Bobby Deol for Kia Connect, the brand’s connected car technology. Launched in 2019, the Seltos helped Kia establish itself in the country and received its first facelift last year. The partnership with Bobby Deol aims to enhance the features and technology offered in the Seltos.

In 2023, Kia introduced a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine in the Seltos, replacing the previous 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine. This upgraded engine delivers 158 bhp and 253 Nm of torque, available with either a 6-speed iMT or a 7-speed DCT transmission. The diesel engine and naturally aspirated petrol engine options remain unchanged, offering around 115 bhp of power.

One of the key updates in the Seltos is the addition of the Advanced Driver Aids System (ADAS), providing 17 ADAS features such as Front Collision Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and Smart Cruise Control. Kia also introduced new variants to the Seltos lineup, making automatic transmission options more affordable for customers.

The collaboration with Bobby Deol and the introduction of the new engine options and ADAS features demonstrate Kia’s commitment to enhancing the driving experience for Seltos customers. With these updates, Kia aims to continue its success in the competitive mid-size SUV segment in India.
