2024 Aprilia RS 660 and Tuono 660 launched in India, priced at ₹17.44 lakh

Aprilia has recently introduced the RS 660 and Tuono 660, both powered by the same 659 cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. The RS 660 generates 100 bhp and 67 Nm of peak torque, while the Tuono 660 offers slightly less power at 95 bhp. Both bikes feature a 6-speed gearbox, with the quickshifter exclusive to the RS model.

These motorcycles are built on a perimeter frame with 41 mm KYB USD front forks and a monoshock at the rear. The suspension setup includes preload and rebound adjustability on both ends, along with dual 320 mm front discs and a single 220 mm rear disc for braking. Additionally, they come with 17-inch alloy wheels.

The RS 660 boasts a full-faired design inspired by the larger RSV4, while the Tuono 660 takes after Aprilia’s V4 flagship naked bike. The RS 660 offers a more aggressive riding position, while the Tuono 660 provides a more upright and relaxed posture. Both models share features like a six-axis IMU, traction control, various riding modes, and all-LED lighting.

Competing in the segment, the Aprilia RS 660 faces off against the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R and Ducati Supersport, while the Tuono 660 challenges the Triumph Street Triple 765 RS and Ducati Streetfighter V2, among others. These bikes will be available at Aprilia’s Motoplex showrooms nationwide.

The Aprilia RS 660 and Tuono 660 mark a new chapter in the middleweight sportbike and naked bike segment, offering riders a blend of performance, style, and technology.
